Me and my Dog in the Languedoc
A dog isn't just for Christmas! If you get a cat then they look after
themselves and you just have to remember to feed them, but a dog is a
very different proposition. They need plenty of attention and lots of
exercise. It's just not fair to keep a dog penned up in a house and even
if you have a garden life's not much fun for a dog if you live in a
city. They need the great outdoors. And that's why I moved to the
Languedoc in the South of France.
It may seem a bit odd to move country just for your dog, and in truth
there was more to the decision than that. Nevertheless I knew my dog,
Ben, wasn't happy in the city and had to chnge our enviroment for both
our sanitites. I've never once regretted the decision.
